This is one of our favourite projects — and not just because of how it looks. Villa Cahaya was designed to live two lives at once: a high-performing rental that guests return to season after season, and a personal retreat that feels completely removed from the noise of the world.

Set deep in the green of Ubud, the villa opens onto a private pool surrounded by tropical garden. No neighbours in sight. Just jungle, light, and silence. The kind of place that makes people put their phones down.

We designed every detail to work as hard as the owners do — materials that age beautifully, a layout that feels open and private at the same time, and a garden that makes the pool look like it grew there naturally. When the owners are away, the villa earns. When they're back, it delivers
