Villa Hijau
hijau — "green" in Balinese — the colour you see first, and never forget
Our client came to us with one clear request — build me something I never want to leave.
We found the plot in Seminyak — a quiet pocket with open views across rice fields, tucked away from the noise but close enough to everything. The moment we stood there, we understood exactly what this home needed to be.
We designed Villa Hijau around the view. The pool runs along the edge of the garden, facing the fields — so every swim, every morning coffee, every evening with a glass of wine happens against that backdrop of endless green. We didn't fight the landscape. We built with it.
The interior flows naturally outward — open living spaces that spill into the garden, materials chosen to age beautifully in the Bali climate, light that moves through the rooms in a way that feels completely intentional. This was a home built for one person's real life — morning runs, remote work, long dinners, slow weekends. We made sure every corner supported that life.
